AlpinOpteryx

This concept was part of my Bachelor-Thesis and is about Intercation and Interface Design of Head-Up Displays. This trailer shows a video-prototye of a gesture-controlled interface build-in in a snowboarder's google for augmented safety and joy on the slope.

CAMovelage

The "Camovelage" Lifestyle Cam is my result for a camera interface and interaction concept. Beside a Flash presentation that shows the usage with it I also had the chance to create a small prototype out of PU foam and acryl glas in the Advanced Interface Design course. That was a nice experience to get a feeling for the product design, that is more represented in the mock-up than in the Flash graphic.

Click through the presentation to get an visual idea for this concept.

Remote

This concept was part of a workshop called "myICON". The task was to find products or services which could have adaptive, improved, redesigned or animated icons.

Beside you find the Flash presentation I showed in the course. In that relative short and intensive time of editing that was given I developed a frist product, interface and interaction design for the TV and settings function. Click through to see how you could use:

  • Device selection
  • Volume setting
  • Channel skipping
  • Channel searching
  • View changing
  • Settings menu

WikiMap

WikiMap provides the personal connection between its users. The goal is a real meeting and discussion from people who have common areas of interest and can help each other. The app is used as a tool to like-minded fast, mobile and themes together and addressed simultaneously as a bridge and "ice-breaker" between foreign users.

Prototype

CUPito

"New media help with working, cooking, shopping, ordering drinks, the nutrition... Students in the program INTERACTION DESIGN show applications."

A concept for a interactive full-screened cup - providing organizer, connection and transfer tools.

Click through the stacks and sheets beside to see some possible features I thought about.

SkyPhone

The experimental course "The Screenless Ofiice" brought up the issue of devices without displays. We started and had a lot of success with screenless mechanics and haptics in history, so the task was to translate the "old" interaction experience with modern functions.>

I created a concept for a screenless office device that makes it possible to communicate with collegues and customers via fixed network, mobile service and Skype Phone. The interaction with it should remember to the operators who had to plug lines manually and it works similar.

Details

mNemotion

A prototype for the Interactive Environments course:

We built a "virtual kicker table" to unplug the conventional user inputs like keyboard and mouse but also from multi toching and created an interface with the kicker table's bars.

Online Banking

The course "User Centered Design" dealt with the subject of the users' needs of functionalty and design for online banking.

After researching, sketching and user testings this was a result I presented as interactive prototype. It gives a feeling of new features and look that was implemented with Adobe's Flash.

Feel free to try out the "new way of financial transactions".

eCar Dashboard

This in a concept of future dasboard design and interaction for (electric) cars.

Central element is the "MIC", what shapes the central controll unit for the dashboard and its car.

W-Speedo

A concept for a new usability of tachometers for bicycle.

The two stripes, each with one button for a simple usage and software navigation, that can be mounted flexible on various parts of the handlebar, because of wireless connection to the display. The functions are reduced to the essential for all target groups.

You can click through the presentation beside.

Touch Alert

An interface and interaction concept for an alarm-clock. The following criteria had to be included:

  • Menu
  • Set time
  • Set alarm
  • Turn ON/OFF alarm
  • Station search
  • Volue setting
